Course objective : The aim of this course is to enable graduate students, under the guidance of their supervisors, to identify their thesis topic in general terms, identify the associated research problems of thesis topic, review relevant academic literature, and compile a literature review in accordance with scientific writing standards.
Learning outcomes : Students who successfully complete this course; -Can determine the thesis topic in general terms. -Can define research problems related to the thesis. -Can scan academic literature related to the thesis subject. -Can develop the scanned academic literature into a compilation that complies with scientific writing rules. -Can work in accordance with academic ethical rules.
Course content : Identifying the thesis topic in general terms, defining and refining the relevant research problems related to the thesis topic, scanning the relevant literature, and producing a compilation in accordance with scientific writing rules.
