At a ceremony held on March 11, 2026, Prof. Dr. Emre Aktaş assumed the position of Head of the Department, succeeding Prof. Dr. Atila Yılmaz, who had served in this role since March 9, 2023.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Atila Yılmaz, our former Head of Department, and to our Vice Heads Prof. Dr. Emre Aktaş and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Yüksekkaya for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to our department over the past three years.
We wish Prof. Dr. Emre Aktaş, who has assumed the position of Head of Department following his service as Vice Head, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şölen Kumbay Yıldız and Prof. Dr. S. Esen Yüksel, who have assumed the position of Vice Head, a successful term in their new administrative roles.
