● Research Strategy
In the
Yuksekkaya Research Lab., we are motivated by solving optimization problems
for wireless communication. We are interested in problems that can result in
new discoveries and technologies.
The primary
factors driving adoption of new discoveries by others throughout the world,
are the cost and the ease of use of the method, material or the system
developed. Affordability and simplicity improve accessibility and minimize
the financial barrier to solve problems using science and technology. We
therefore, pay particular attention to keep things simple and easy.
● Research Interests
Our research
interests include optimization of wireless communication networks, next
generation heterogeneous networks and aerial networks, cognitive and
cooperative communication techniques in next generation networks,
communications in interference limited networks, and optimization theory.
