Course objective : The aim of the course is to assist doctoral students, under the guidance of their supervisors, in organising, assessing, discussing, and subsequently reporting their findings using academic language, a process which stems from the data collection and analysis conducted in accordance with scientific and ethical standards, following the sample research design developed during the course, which is a prerequisite for this course, and pertains to the topic of their intended thesis.
Learning outcomes : Students who complete this course successfully; -Can group the findings obtained as a result of pilot data collection and analysis by associating them with the literature, and evaluate and interpret them critically and comprehensively. -Can report their findings in an academic language and with integrity, which will facilitate their future thesis. -Can express the main results and contributions of the pilot study clearly and concisely in the final report they will prepare. -Can develop scientific and practical proposals based on pilot research results. -Gain awareness of acting in accordance with ethical writing principles and referencing rules.
Course content : Organising, evaluating and discussing the findings derived from data collection and analysis processes conducted within the framework of the prepared research design, guided by the supervisors, and subsequently reporting these findings by using academic language.
