The graduation project exhibition of our department’s senior students was held on May 23, 2025, at the Electronics Laboratory on the ground floor of our department.

At this traditional event, which has been organized annually by our department for 26 years, our students showcased the products they developed in the laboratory.
To honor the memory of our late student Mert Uluçay, who passed away in 2012, the "Mert Uluçay Project Award", sponsored by the Uluçay Family, was presented for the thirteenth time this year. Undergraduate students voted to select the top three projects they liked most. Additionally, based on the votes of our faculty members, awards were also given in the categories of "Best Theoretical Contribution" and "Best Practical Implementation". At the end of the event, students whose projects won awards received monetary prizes in a brief ceremony.
Mert Uluçay Most Admired Project Awards:
The project titled "Flexible Energy Harvesting System for IoT and Wearable Electronics", conducted by Gaye Aksu, Zülal Kübra Nur Yüksel, Elif Sedef Sekkin, and Mert Emir Özbolat, under the supervision of Dr. Dinçer Gökcen, was selected as the most admired project by our students.
The project titled "AI Chip Design for Liquid Identification", carried out by Ekin Akyıldırım, Kağan Şafak Kılınç, and Abdullah Burak Çakı, also under the supervision of Dr. Dinçer Gökcen, ranked second among the students’ favorites.
The project titled "Development of Electromyography (EMG) System of Dynamic Arm Support for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Patients", conducted by Efnan Nur Gül, İsmail Metin İpek, and Doğa Derya Buçan, under the supervision of Dr. Atila Yılmaz, was voted the third most admired project by students.
Students who received the Best Theoretical Contribution and Best Practical Implementation awards, based on the votes of our faculty members, Industry Advisory Board members, and expert visitors, are as follows:
Best Theoretical Contribution Award:
The project titled "Liquid Volume Detection from Drain Images", conducted by Ali Çelikkaya and supervised by Dr. Esen Yüksel, received the Best Theoretical Contribution Award.
Best Practical Implementation Award:
The project titled "Rubik's Cube Solver", carried out by Kadir Efe Dilek and Samet Batuhan Çörekçi, and supervised by Dr. Barış Yüksekkaya, received the Best Practical Implementation Award.
