Prof. Dr. Atila Yılmaz's Project Receives 2025-B-01 Support from the Turkish Health Institutes Directorate

The evaluation process for project proposals submitted to the 2025-B-01 call, within the scope of Group B project supports of the Turkish Health Institutes Directorate (TÜSEB), has been completed. This year, the call was conducted in two phases and received a total of 1,198 applications, of which 736 project proposals were taken into scientific evaluation.

In the field of health sciences and technologies, R&D projects offering innovative solutions, developing need-oriented technological approaches, and having a product-focused strategic goal were evaluated across 8 main and 22 subfields. As a result, 155 project proposals were selected for support, corresponding to a support rate of 21%. Hacettepe University shared the distinction of having the highest number of accepted projects with the University of Health Sciences.
Among the 8 R&D project proposals from Hacettepe University selected for funding under this call, the only project supported from the Faculty of Engineering was "Development of an Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Sleep Apnea Detection System with a Thermal Camera Array", led by Prof. Dr. Atila Yılmaz, faculty member of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
