Inspiring the Next Generation at the STEM & Makers Fest/Expo

Within the scope of the STEM & Makers Fest/Expo – European Researchers' Night event, held at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University on September 26-27, 2025, and supported by the Horizon Europe Programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA & Citizens), our faculty members Assoc. Prof. İsmail Uyanık, Dr. Gürhan Bulu, and Assoc. Prof. Şölen Kumbay Yıldız shared their current research topics with a broad audience during the Café Scientifique talks.
Themed "Imagine, Innovate, Impact (i³)", the event provided participants with inspiring and informative sessions on a platform where science meets society, particularly children and young people, directly. We are pleased to have contributed to this significant science communication event, which aims to foster direct dialogue between researchers and the public, promote scientific thinking, and inspire meaningful interaction with younger generations.
