Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün’s IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Tour Report: Impressions from Egypt and South Africa
Our faculty member Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün carried out her first international tour under the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Distinguished Lecturer (DL) program in Egypt and South Africa. Between July 27 and August 5, 2025, she delivered lectures and workshops in Cairo, Pretoria, and Stellenbosch, covering topics such as computational electromagnetics, radar and defense applications, sustainable RF design, and the future of electromagnetic engineering. The events attracted wide participation from various universities and defense industry organizations, making significant contributions to academic collaboration and international knowledge exchange.
